Stockholm, 2026-06-16 – CyberResilient, a Swedish software company in cybersecurity and regulatory compliance, has appointed Fredrik Limsäter as its new CEO. The recruitment comes as the company enters its next phase, scaling its intelligent platform for NIS2 compliance, operational risk management and continuity.

“The only way to meet increasing legal requirements and actually have resilience is continuous work – in an intelligent system. That is why we, together with experienced CISOs, created the platform for cyber resilience. Everything from ongoing measurement of regulatory compliance to risk management and continuity planning – in one platform,” says Fredrik Limsäter, new CEO of CyberResilient.

Limsäter joins from leading roles in international SaaS. He is the founder and former CEO of ftrack, which grew from a startup into a global platform for creative production workflows and was acquired by PSG Equity in 2021. During his time at ftrack he was awarded an Oscar for technical innovation from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Following the acquisition, he held leading roles within the SaaS group Backlight.

CyberResilient has grown out of long experience in cybersecurity through the experts at the consultancy Cyber Defencely, where the platform’s methods and structures are used in live customer environments. With early exposure to supervision, management issues and operational reality, CyberResilient has built a platform that is demand-driven rather than theoretical. The company has been granted support from the Swedish Authority for Civil Defence (MCF) on two occasions, for the development of methods and technology that strengthen organisations’ resilience against cyber threats in line with European regulations, including NIS2.

“Cyber Defencely’s experts have, in close collaboration with customers, developed new working methods and systems. With CyberResilient, the same methodology can be used consistently and reach more organisations, without depending on consultants in every individual case,” says Emanuel Lipschütz, Chairman of the Board of CyberResilient.

CyberResilient today offers free assessments of cybersecurity and regulatory compliance on its popular site cyberresilient.se, and is developing an AI-based platform for risk and continuity management. The platform aims to give management and security leads a complete picture of their current status, risk exposure and prioritised actions – tailored for organisations facing increasing regulatory requirements. During 2026 the company is focusing on productising the risk and continuity module. The platform can be used by the end customer or integrated into the offering of partners such as security consultants, system integrators and managed service providers (MSSPs).

CyberResilient offers the intelligent platform for cyber resilience. Headquartered in Stockholm and supported by the Swedish Authority for Civil Defence (MCF), the company offers an intelligent platform that continuously measures regulatory compliance, risk management and continuity planning. The platform can be used by the end customer or integrated into the existing offering of partners. Assessments of cybersecurity and regulatory compliance are offered free of charge at cyberresilient.se.
